Background and professional experience summary
Sarahy is an experienced storyteller focusing on digital communications and content strategy with extensive know-how in video production, website design, and writing. She just wrapped up a contract with Microsoft, where she developed content and strategy in both English and Spanish by applying strong writing and editing skills to produce persuasive sales materials for traditional and digital platforms. While at Microsoft, she also managed stakeholder relationships through creative engagement providing reporting and analytics about sales content created, revenue supported, medium utilized and the best-selling story strategy for account teams in North America and Latin America. Concurrent with that position, she collaborated with Movimiento Afrolatino Seattle, a non-profit that activates and empowers communities through art, raising awareness about the history and cultural contributions of Latinos of African descent. As a Board Member, Communications Manager, and Project Lead, she was responsible for managing its digital channels and print outreach efforts which included content strategy and design for their website, e-newsletters, social media, and video. In this role, she also provided management for logistics, grants, and budgets.
